On November 21 the Linger Longer Committee (which I am a member of) put on a Thanksgiving Dinner for our ward. It turned out great. We had lots of help and had an amazing feast. Some of my favorites were the different kinds of sweet potatoes and one of them was yams and apples made how my family makes them. That surprised me. Most people don't make them that way.
