Ice Skating and Encanto

On November 24, Cam and I went ice skating and then we went to see the movie Encanto. What an adventure skating was. I fell twice. The first one I felt it coming, so I was able to slowly "sit down" and then get back up. The second one was very unexpected. One minute I was up, and the next I was down. It was a hard hit. Definitely had some bruising. Cam had the wrong size of skates at first. The first pair were way too big and were making it difficult to skate. Once he got the right size, it went a lot better.

Encanto is super cute! I would highly recommend seeing it. Lots of life lessons and things that I think we can all relate to.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal—every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz). But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope.
