Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! I spent the day at different buildings, Stonehenge of Ogden and RMC Clearfield. We did training at Stonehenge and then helped with the Valentine's Party at Clearfield. The party turned out so fun and I thought the decorations were so cute. They had chicken salad sandwiches, chips, cookies, and soda for the residents. We also had a chocolate fountain. We had a spot open for dancing.

One of my favorite moments of the day happened with the dancing. They had a resident who was in a wheelchair and I learned doesn't get up too often. I was by her, and at one point, she got a little teary-eyed and asked if I would go dace with her. I said absolutely and she took my arm and got up. She held my hand and we walked over the dance floor and danced. It was awesome to watch!

That evening I was sitting at home watching a movie when there was a knock at my door. I opened the door and Ben Davis was at my door with a yellow rose and bag of goodies. The flower was beautiful and smelled good as well. We chatted for a few minutes before he left to go deliver more roses and goody bags. While outside we noticed another vase with a red rose and a bag with 3 Utah Truffles (dark chocolate sea salt flavor). I don't know how long those had been sitting outside. I didn't hear a knock at my door to get those. It was also a beautiful flower that smelled good. Thanks to the kind stranger and Ben for the gifts. They made me smile.
