We stayed in Altamont for New Year’s Eve. Mandy and I decided to do a puzzle Aunt Mary had sent in one of her boxes back in October. It is a mystery puzzle. We had a little story to read and then we had to put together the puzzle to solve the mystery. Our mystery involved a murder that happened on the Titanic right before it sunk. The other part that made this a mystery is we had no idea what the puzzle looked like. It doesn’t look like the cover of the box. It was intriguing. We managed to finish it before midnight.
In between doing the puzzle, Mary wanted to talk with the Green River crew. We used her new kindle and got on Facebook Messenger to chat. Aunt Ann slept through it. We talked with Anna, Avan, and Uncle Lee. We could see Nathan in the background. Anna is doing well and her leg is slowly healing from the break. Easton has Covid. Nathan possibly had it too. But by the time he was tested, he was negative. Other than that, they are doing well. I’m grateful for technology to allow us to video chat.
Right before midnight, we went into the living room to watch the ball at time square drop. At midnight we yelled Jumanji and hopefully sent positive vibes for 2021.
