Fixed Car

So back at the end of May (May 30th to be exact) I was in a small car accident. I rear-ended a car by accelerated to quickly at a green light. I decided to make a claim with my insurance and get my car fixed. I had an appointment made to take my car in on June 13th to get it fixed.

I got a call later that afternoon saying that they were probably going to total my car. They had found some internal damage to my car. They said they would need to get an adjuster to make a final call on my car. Well, somehow my case went through the cracks and an adjuster never came.

After many phone calls and emails, and about 1 1/2 months later we got an adjuster there and they decided to total my car. I was at a crossroads. I could buy my car back from the insurance, take the sum of money they offered me, and fix it on my own and getting a branded, re-built title, or I could take a different sum of money and have my car totaled and walk away from it. After talking with my family and some trusted friends, and Dynamic Collision who could fix my car for cheap, I decided to keep my car.

I got my car back and fixed at the end of July. It still may need a starter because every once in awhile it struggles to start. Other than that it seems to be running ok.
