Crazy Weather

Following Labor Day Utah Experienced some crazy weather! We had category 3 hurricane winds that took out thousands of trees and left hundreds of thousands without power throughout the Wasatch Front (Cache County to Utah County). At Mom's we experienced some wind (but it felt like normal basin wind) and cooler temperatures bringing snow.

The power went out at my apartment. According to an email I received from Rocky Mountain Power, my power went out on Tuesday September 8th around 4 am. It did not come back on until Thursday September 10th around 4 pm. I know several still didn't have power throughout the weekend and into the following week.

I guess it is a good thing I decided to go to Mom's after Labor Day.
Thanks to all those who worked to clean up the debris and trees and worked to restore power.
