Funeral

On Tuesday we (Mom, Mandy, Mary, and I) went to my mom's Aunt Mary's funeral. It was sad and funny. The only sad part about it was Grandma didn't realize it was her sister funeral. When she did she said, "You mean my own sister died and they didn't tell me?" Her sister Elaine then said, "Helen, of course they told you! You just forgot." On the last call for looks Grandma went up and stared at Mary for a few minutes. No one else went up.
Now for the funny things. Mary's son talked. He started his talk by saying, "Electrons, electrons, electrons, are no longer electrons." He was talking about the email he wrote of his mother's life. It was an excellent talk. The lady who sang did well too. My favorite was the piano playing. Man, she just could have kept on playing!
After the funeral Uncle Stan brought Grandma a walker with a seat. Oh buddy. Grandma was not happy with Uncle Stan. She told him SHE DID NOT NEED THE WALKER! Then Aunt Ann sat in the walker. Uncle Stan pushed her around the foyer. They were showing Grandma how to use it. Aunt Ann started waving as if she was in a parade. It was hilarious!!
When we were outside getting Grandma in the car Aunt Jerilyn got into the walker. She told Uncle Stan to push her to the car. Uncle Stan started to push her. Not long after starting Aunt Jerilyn stood up. Uncle Stan then said, "What are you doing? You're going to make us wreck!" Aunt Jerilyn replied, "I know you're going to make us wreck!" After this small argument she sat  back down. Uncle Stan then pushed her the rest of the way to the car.
Sorry there aren't any pics. I keep forgetting to take my camera with me.
