Gift I gave to Coworkers

I struggled to come up with what I wanted to give coworkers for Christmas this year. I finally came up with the Toilet Paper Snowman and hand Santa-tizer. Thanks Carol and Mandy for the help on ideas.

Christmas Star

On December 21, Saturn and Jupiter aligned so clothes that they appeared as one star or almost as one star. I was in Altamont and went and looked at the star with Carol, Mom, Mandy, and Mary. I was wishing we had a telescope but it was still cool to look at with the naked eye and with binoculars.

Merry Christmas everyone. May we be reminded of the reason and the miracle of Christmas.

Thanks to those who shared their photos on Facebook.

Ward Dinner

This is the Christmas Dinner my ward gave out. Since we haven’t been able to meet in person, they have made food to go. Doesn’t it look delicious?

Christmas Puzzle

I’ve had this puzzle for years but have never had the opportunity to put it together. It took my three days, 7 movies, and one Tabernacle Choir show to finish it.

Isn’t it beautiful?!

Evening of December 9

On the evening of December 9, had the opportunity to listen to part of the Virtual Temple Square Concert where a friend of mine performed. I met Karen Mitchell in Ottawa. At the time she was Relief Society President of the ward I served in in my first area. She and her sisters’ video was chosen to be part of the concert. It was so fun to see them! Great job ladies!

I had to stop watching the video so I could go see The Forgotten Carols with Kelsey. She had been wanting to see it, but not go to the movie theater alone. Kurt watched the kids while Kelsey and I had a girls night. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to get out and doing something.

Happy Birthday Mandy!

 Happy Birthday Mandy!

I was able to go home and surprise the family for Mandy’s birthday. It was a fun time celebrated with Mom, Mandy, Mary, Meg, Carol, and me. We had dinner, Mandy opened her presents, and we opened up an early Christmas present from Dad and John. It is Facebook Portal and we were able to visit with them and John’s birth mother.

I hope you have many more Happy Birthdays Mandy!
